Full Description

March 2014. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The earthworks of a possible mound of uncertain date and significance may be visible on aerial photographs (S1). However, as this is not visible on earlier aerial photographs and could feasibly be a non-archaeological anomaly – a mound of vegetation with modern tracks around it – it must therefore be treated with some suspicion. No clear sign of this feature surviving on the LIDAR DTM model is visible (S2).

Nothing convincing was visible on (S3) when consulted.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 02nd January 2015.
