Full Description
January 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
A group of possible undated pits may be visible on the 2m LIDAR DTM (S1) within the wooded area of Scottshall Coverts. The site is centred on TM 4650 6747. These are located within the wooded area, further investigation on the ground is required to ascertain their date and archaeological significance. It is possible that they relate to small-scale extraction of some sort.
