Full Description
Saddle quern, upper and lower stones (S2).
An urn was also reported but not seen.
EADT cutting in Basil Brown archive dated 10-1-1949 contains letter form Guy Maynard, Curator, IPSMG. He reports the find of quern and pottery vessel during garden extension during 1936. A friend of the house owner took away the vessel so there is no description of its type and Maynard asked for assistance in tracing it. No further information (S1).
