Full Description

1993: Monitoring of a 40mx30m stripped area recovered two medieval pottery sherds from the spoil of a mains pipe trench, also saw post-medieval pottery, clay pipe, brick and tile fragments (S1).

An archaeological desk-based assessment was carried out for this proposed development site. The site measured c.5 hectares and the site is still in arable use. The work involved an assessment of the historic environment record, historic documentary sources and historic maps (S2).
