Full Description

March 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
A possible field boundary or trackway is visible as soilmarks on aerial photographs (S1) on land to the east of Leiston Road, Aldeburgh.
This ditch feature is visible in close proximity to the anti-tank ditch defence (SHER ADB 034) and the World War Two communication tranches recorded to the east (SHER ADB 020), and therefore may be a remnant of a World War Two trackway, although there was no discernible activity during World War Two in this precise area (S2), which is why it has been recorded separately.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 5th March 2015.
