Full Description

April 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
Several fragmentary linear ditches relating to a possible undated field system are visible on aerial photographs (S1) on land to the south of Church Lane, Butley. It is not possible to ascribe a date to these features although since they do not relate to any of the post medieval field boundaries they are thought to be earlier than this date.
They may relate to a field system recorded separately to the east (SHER BUT 030 and BUT 066).
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 22nd April 2015.
