Monument record EKE 037 - Undated cropmark enclosures and ditches

Please read our .

Summary

The site of fragmentary ditches, field boundaries, trackways and two possible square enclosures of unknown date is visible on aerial photographs. The lack of relationship with the enclosures and ditches and the surrounding landscape would suggest a pre-medieval date. Given the amount of Roman and Saxon activity in the area, it is possible that at least some of the components date to either period.
