Full Description
July 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The cropmarks and slight earthworks of possible medieval to post medieval boundaries and trackways are visible on aerial photographs and LIDAR DTM data (S1-S2). The trackways and ditches appear to have some relationship with those boundaries defining Rookery Farm and it is possible that they relate to settlement and agriculture associated with a former area of farm. Although it must be noted that some of the cropmarks may relate to earlier pre-medieval activity.
