Full Description
July 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The earthworks of possible ditched enclosures and/or boundaries of potential medieval to post medieval date may be visible on the LIDAR data (S1) in an area of plantation within Rendlesham Forest. See also EKE 042 for possible tracks and boundaries recorded from the LIDAR in this area. These features would need to be checked on the ground. However see EKE 009 and EKE Misc/ MSF19950 for location of Staverton Hall and Church in this general area of Rendlesham Forest.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 8th July 2015.
