Full Description

2003: Findspot of a small blade with leaf -shaped pointed distal half, notched at base, leading to parallel sided 'tang' at proximal end. Side notches are the only areas of retouch but form suggests possible microlithic arrow tip. If this is the case a Mesolithic date would be appropriate. If a notched blade, a Mesolithic, Neolithic or Early Bronze Age date would be the case (S1).
