Full Description
Feb 1990: Scatter of Late Bronze Age and Roman metalwork identified in area between WBG 004 and WBG 014. The scatter includes a Late Bronze Age leaf-shaped spearhead with a peg hole. The spearhead has similarities to one found in Blaxhall (BLX 008). A Roman button and loop fastener and five Roman coins dated between AD 138 and AD 337. Miscellaneous metal fragments of post medieval date was also identified (S1).
