Full Description
Unlocated Saxon bronze cruciform brooch. Bronze , top-knob circular in section, domed in outline, square head-plate, abbreviated wings, divided bow, animal head terminal, single hinge. From West Stow heath, Suffolk as part of Joseph Warren's collection. Acquired by Sir John Evans and presented to the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford by Sir Arthur Evans in 1909.
