Full Description
Five archaeological evaluation trenches were excavated on land at Glebe House Residential Home, Hollesley, Suffolk in advance of redevelopment of the site. A single undated ditch was identified. Four pieces of dressed, architectural stone were recovered from the subsoil, which possibly date to the 15th century. One of the stones displayed a masons mark or an assembly mark with two pieces possibly being part of a door or window tracing. (S1).
