Full Description

Buckle has loop and tounge only. Tounge D-Shaped with shield-shaped base-plate, anchorage at back intact. Part of J. Gwilt collection and acquried by the Revd E.A. Sydenham sold at sotherbys, 20th Dec 1948, to Ashmolean Museum. (S1) Accession number: OXFAS 1948.261.
