Full Description

Two pottery kilns excavated by H Prigg in 1886. These kilns are termed Prigg 3 and 4 in EAA 48 and 1 and 2 by Prigg himself. The first kilns were located four yards from each other. Remains of "vessels of the jar and saucer form and mostly dark in colour" were recovered from the second kiln. (R1) (R2) (S1)
