Full Description
Geophysical survey identified possible Iron Age/Romano-British settlement activity in the form of a series of rectangular enclosures that extend along the eastern edge of the site. A circular enclosure was identified in the central part of the site where several prehistoric artefact scatters have been recorded (S1.) The remains probably extend further to the east under peat and colluvium / alluviam than the geophysical survey shows.
2002: An assessment of aerial photographs identified a series of linear earthwork features west of the B1112. (S2)
