Full Description

Unlocated Medieval buckle plate fragment. Rectangular outline with projecting knobs at the two outer corners/ Zoomorphic (?Lion/bear) head terminals, holding two loops with short 'rivet' type attachments. Wear marks across the short sides on both faces. Heads suggest that the handle should be seen upright. Attachments possible for leather strap rather than wood. Wear pattern odd. Stylistically Medieval.
