Full Description

Three unlocated undated troughs found while exacavating a mount between Mildenhall and Icklingham in 1881 by H. Prigg. These objects were given to Ipswich Museum (Accession number 1921:121) by Dr Frank Corner. Two of these objects survive in the museum store, one broken, one complete. Made of hard grey pottery, oval with walls 1cm thick, 12cm high. They measure 30cm long and 15cm wide. During the time of finding Prigg was excavating Warren Hill (MNL 001).
