Full Description
Unlocated complete bronze unlooped palstave with sheild pattern decoration. Middle Bronze Age (c.1500-1200). Numerous linear grazes to surface and some dents on blade edge, many clearly modern although some are patinated. Patinated deep brown with numerous patches and small pocks of pale green invasive corrosion. Possibly from the parish of Hitcham.
