Full Description
Unlocated group of Early Saxon stray finds from Ixworth. Finds include bronze wrist clasp (OXFAS (Ashmolean accession number) 1909.444a), inscribed strap end (OXFAS 1909.443), girdle hanger bronze girdle hanger (OXFAS: 1909.449), a sheet bronze mount (OXFAS:1909.471.1) and a sheet bronze mount or applique (OXFAS: 1909.444c). Finds all part of the J.Warren collection and acquried for the Ashmolean Museum by Sir J. Evans. (S1) Exact findspot is unclear.
