Full Description

Scattered hoard of thirty six late 3rd century Roman coins. One full size antoninianus of Carausius. The remainder are undersized and irregular copies of antoniniani. A majority of the reverses are based on Pax types. If all found in a limited area with no other coins the group could be part of a scattered hoard, perhaps a purse.
