Monument record HLY 148 - Cropmarks of linear ditches and possible enclosures

Please read our .

Summary

Linear ditches and possible enclosures are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs on land to the east of Schillings Farm, Hollesley. It is possible that some of the cropmarks are in fact caused by geological patterning, such as frost cracking, but the majority of features have been mapped as there are other possible prehistoric settlement sites in the vicinity (SHER HLY 009 and ADT 001).
