November 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
A modern ‘enclosure’, with an irregular outline, possibly defined by barbed wire, a hedge or simply a scarp, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1943 and 1944 (S1)-(S2); its outline is vaguely visible as a soil or cropmark on later aerial photographs. It may be of Second World War date, but its function is unclear. It has been mapped only by extent.
