Summary

A possible curvilinear boundary bank of unknown date is visible as a slight earthwork (since levelled) and cropmark on aerial photographs. Its purpose is unknown, but several other boundaries and/or trackways or roads have been mapped nearby (SUE 023). The rather diffuse appearance of the feature, however, could indicate a geological rather than archaeological origin.

December 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
A possible curvilinear boundary bank of unknown date is visible as a slight earthwork (since levelled) and cropmark on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2). Its purpose is unknown, but several other boundaries and/or trackways or roads have been mapped nearby (SUE 023). The rather diffuse appearance of the feature, however, could indicate a geological rather than archaeological origin.
