Full Description

September 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
A curvilinear enclosure bank and related ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S4) to the west of Oak Hill Sutton. It is possible that this represents a later prehistoric or possibly a medieval to post medieval enclosure, although there is a crag pit recorded in the field to the south on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map (S5), suggesting that this feature be related to post medieval extraction.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 17th September 2015.
