Full Description

Large numbers of clay pipes recovered in a field to the N of Waveney House. All plain except for one, slightly atypical in shape, with the letters TB (or BT) moulded on the side of the bowl, one letter on each side. Also some C15- C16 glazed pottery and a bellarmine from the same area. Information from R Hall collected over a long period (S1).
Pipes possibly to be associated with Thomas Brown(e) of Bungay fl. 1650-1686. See also WYB 024, 029 and 037.
