Full Description
November 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The possible earthworks of a number of small circular mounds are visible on the Lidar 2m DTM imagery (S1). The archaeological significance of these features is uncertain and it is entirely possible that all of the features relate to recent clearance mounds – in particular those within the western part of the polygon which have not been included within the mapping. However see TUN 005 for nearby features recorded on ground.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 25th November 2015.
