Summary

The fragmentary cropmarks of possible ditches and/or former field boundaries of unknown date may be visible on aerial photographs, but were not included within the mapping either due to uncertainty over archaeological origin. More obvious field boundary cropmarks visible on the aerial photographs related to post medieval field boundaries depicted on the Ordnance Survey First Edition map.

November 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The fragmentary cropmarks of possible ditches and/or former field boundaries of unknown date may be visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2), but were not included within the mapping either due to uncertainty over archaeological origin. More obvious field boundary cropmarks visible on the aerial photographs related to post medieval field boundaries depicted on the Ordnance Survey First Edition map (S3).
