Summary

The cropmarks of boundary ditches and/or drainage channels and enclosures of unknown date, but potentially medieval to post medieval date, are visible on aerial photographs. However note nearby finds of both Roman, as well as those of medieval date (EKE 004, EKE 007). Earthwork boundary banks of a similar alignment are recorded within forest to the southeast (EKE 049).

July 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The cropmarks of boundary ditches and/or drainage channels and enclosures of unknown date, but potentially medieval to post medieval date, are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S4). However note nearby finds of both Roman, as well as those of medieval date (EKE 004, EKE 007). Earthwork boundary banks of a similar alignment are recorded within forest to the southeast (EKE 049).
