Full Description
August 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The site of a possible Second World War pillbox may be visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The structure has a roof in the 1940s and may either be a camouflaged type 22 pillbox (or similar) or may be a pavilion or recreational structure on the edge of Bromeswell Heath. Recent photography (S2) suggests a structure is still present at this location.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 28th August 2015.
