Full Description
Monitoring of work of the phase 3 repair of the base water system at RAF Lakenheath identified desiccated fan deposits on the northern edge of the airfield, indicating the former extent of Wangford fen. Other soil profiles identified recorded a history of levelling of the natural dune and hollow landscape (S1).
