Summary

The earthworks of an extensive linear hollow or wide shallow ditch is visible on the lidar 2m resolution DTM data running eastwards from a boundary ditch forming part of ADT 013 – a site consisting of rectangular enclosures and boundaries of possible Roman or medieval date – towards the coast. Feasibly this may represent a routeway associated with those enclosures and the landscape associated with them, although it could also relate to the line of a later drainage channel.

The earthworks of an extensive linear hollow or wide shallow ditch is visible on the lidar 2m resolution DTM data (S1) running eastwards for approximately 700m from a boundary ditch forming part of ADT 013 – a site consisting of rectangular enclosures and boundaries of possible Roman or medieval date – towards the coast. Feasibly this may represent a routeway associated with those enclosures and the landscape associated with them, although it could also relate to the line of a later drainage channel.
