Monument record ADT 106 - Cropmarks of a series of field boundaries, ditches and possible tracks of uncertain date and significance

Please read our .

Summary

The cropmarks of a series of field boundaries, ditches and possible tracks were visible on aerial photographs at this location. The regularity of these boundaries and also their relationship to boundaries depicted on the Ordnance Survey First Edition map would indicate that they are likely to be post medieval in date. Their apparent potential relationship with ditches forming part of ADT 001 (formerly ADT 028) could suggest that they are older in date and of greater archaeological significance.
