Monument record ADT 014 - Group of ring ditches of possible prehistoric or Roman date

Please read our .

Summary

The cropmarks of up to three ring ditches, which are visible on oblique aerial photographs. Whilst it is possible that these all represent the remains of Bronze Age round barrows, it is also feasible that they relate to the eaves-drip gullies of roundhouses associated with settlement contemporary with the fragmentary enclosures and field boundaries recorded under ADT 101, which were tentatively recorded as being of late prehistoric to Roman date.
