2016: Metal detecting rally at Bacton was carried out across 3 fields. A total of 191 finds were recovered. Two of the fields, A (western field) and B (central field) have been surveyed before. In the previous rally, field A had produced a number of Roman finds mostly from the top of the field and this was seen again during this rally. Four Roman finds were recovered in field B and two were recovered in Field C (eastern field). Two Iceni coins were recovered - a 1/4 Stater in Field A and a silver unit coin in Field B.
