Full Description

Evaluation identified a double pottery kiln of mid-late 1st century AD date which produced mainly oxidised, primarily buff coloured, wares with a large proportion being flagons, beakers and jars. In addition small ditches of early Roman date and post medieval date were also recorded (S1)( S3)(S4).

Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2017 (S2).
