Summary

The cropmarks of a possible ring ditch, potentially represent the remains of former Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs. This ring ditch may have formed part of a cluster of up to seven barrows forming a barrow cemetery overlooking the Little Ouse River and a minor tributary (BNH 120).

March 2018. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
The soilmarks of a possible ring ditch, potentially represent the remains of former Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs (S1). Although it must be noted that semi-circular soilmark may relate to the underlying periglacial patterned ground. This ring ditch may have formed part of a cluster of up to seven barrows forming a barrow cemetery overlooking the Little Ouse River and a minor tributary (BNH 120).
