Full Description

March 2018. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
An area of earthwork banks, causeways and ditches, some of which may relate to drainage, of probable medieval to post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S4). Some of these are depicted as trackways on the late nineteenth century Ordnance Survey mapping (S5). None of the features have been mapped. The site is partly outside of the project area, and potentially continues along the valley, and may warrant a reassessment in light of any additional earthworks identified further to the southwest.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 10th March 2018.
