Full Description
January 2019. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A group of possible braided trackways, of unknown date, are visible as earthworks on imagery from a 2015 lidar survey (S1). They have been mapped only by extent. They appear to cross from the southern corner of Brandon Warren (SHER BRD 082) into Wangford Warren (SHER WNG 068). Their identification as trackways, however, is not certain; the section within Wangford Warren in particular could instead be a natural geomorphological feature. As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently, it is likely that the earthworks still survive.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 16th January 2019.
