Full Description

2016: Evaluation trenching covering the new build element of a development comprising five new dwellings and the conversion of two 19th century former school buildings revealed little evidence for past activity. The only features in the trenches were a small ditch of uncertain date, another small ditch of later Post medieval date and two pits of mid-20th century date. Finally a brick sawpit of c1900 date and its associated timber structure were recorded photographically. (S1)
