Full Description

Brick-built engine house, part of the former Barton Hall Estate (Barton Hall was destroyed by fire 1915). Sales particulars describe the building being fitted with a Hornsby 18-20 HP oil engine and Taunton Dynamo for electricity generation. Previously had a number of additions and extensions which were mostly removed during the 20th century. Surviving building now converted to a house. (S1)
