Full Description

Early 18th century granary above two stables and a cart lodge. The stable building is in the grounds of the vicarage to St Marys Church, now know as The Old Vicarage, which is a mid 19th century gre gault brick house under a slate roof.

The stable is built in red brick laid in a lime mortar. The brick bond is a variation of a Flemish bond. The building has a mansard roof, tiled but may have originally been thatched. The granary is four bays long, two of which are stalls, the other two form what was historically the cart lodge. Internally the walls are paneled up to waist height, above this is lath and lime plaster. The partitions between the stalls still survives. Parts of the floor are brick (S1).
