Full Description
The investigation revealed six archaeological features in the form of a group of four pits a ditch and a linear gully. The gully and pits appeared to relate to Middle to Late Iron Age settlement edge activity, while the ditch marked a field boundary that was still extant in 1945 but is possibly of medieval origin (S1).
