Full Description
2017: MOLA carried out a trial trench evaluation on land at Roper’s Lane, Long Melford, Suffolk. Fourteen trenches were excavated and recorded the remains of a railway turntable in the south-east part of the site and a series of post-medieval (late 18th to c19th centuries) and modern features including ditches, a large pit and hedgerows at the north and western areas of the site.
