Full Description
Rim sherd, finger tipping on shoulder, found in garden of St Mary's (S1).
November 2002: Monitoring of footings for a small extension to the domestic residence, St Mary's, did not identify any archaeological deposits. This is despite the garden being listed as a findspot for IA and Roman material although it must be noted that the garden has been greatly reduced in size since the findspot was reported. 0.55m of clean topsoil over natural sand and gravel was revealed (S2).
