Full Description

Possible ring ditch discovered by aerial photography.
A concentric ring ditch or double ditched oval enclosure, possibly of Neolithic or Bronze Age date, is visible as a cropmark and low earthwork on aerial photographs, centred on circa TM267450, immediately to the east of Heath Farm, Waldringfield parish. An outer bank, two narrow ditches and an eroded or damaged central mound can be seen, the northern edge of the bank and ditches damaged or destroyed by the extant hedgerow. (S1-S3)
