Full Description

Ring ditch, circa 25m in diameter with part of curvilinear enclosure curving west from its south edge. Adjacent to ring ditch, RMS 009, and NE of it. Possibly associated with RMS 011. (S1)
A possible Prehistoric hut circle with a possibly associated oval ditched enclosure, centred on TM 31684164, can be seen as cropmarks on aerial photographs. The possibe hut circle is visible as a ring ditch, with an overall diameter of circa 14m, centred on TM 31684165. There is a probable entrance way visible at TM 31684165. On the southern side of the ring ditch an oval enclosure, which may or may not be contemporary with the ring ditch, is visible, centred on TM 31684164. A possible entrance is visible on the east side of the enclosure. A larger sub-circular enclosure is also visible around the outside of the oval enclosure and is roughly 25m in diameter. Its relationship to the ring ditch and the oval enclosure is unclear. There are a number of pits inside these enclosures but they may be natural (S1) (S2). (S3)
