July 2017. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A group of undated banks within Mayes Plantation are visible as earthworks on imagery from a lidar survey flown in 2015 (S1). They lie just above the edge of the Little Ouse floodplain, and could feasibly relate to drainage, or terracing for the plantation. In both cases, a post medieval or modern date is likely.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 13th July 2017.
