Summary

The site of a former Second World War type 22 pillbox is visible on aerial photographs to the east of Bury Road, Brandon. It is possible that this is the pillbox recorded at 78 Bury Road (Defence of Britain: PILLBOX: S0014703) in a 1951 pillbox removal order. Although see also BRD 303 for an alternative location for this former pillbox.

The site of a former Second World War type 22 pillbox is visible on aerial photographs to the east of Bury Road, Brandon (S1). It is possible that this is the pillbox recorded at 78 Bury Road (Defence of Britain: PILLBOX: S0014703) in a 1951 pillbox removal order. Although see also BRD 303 for an alternative location for this former pillbox.
