Summary
An area of uneven ground, visible as earthworks on imagery from a lidar survey flown in 2015, may represent a former quarry, perhaps of post medieval date. A possible small rectilinear enclosure is also visible. The site is overlain by the northwest corner of an enclosure depicted on a 19th century Ordnance Survey map (SHER STN 040).

November 2017. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
An area of uneven ground, visible as earthworks on imagery from a lidar survey flown in 2015 (S1), may represent a former quarry, perhaps of post medieval date. A possible small rectilinear enclosure is also visible. The site is overlain by the northwest corner of an enclosure depicted on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition 6 inch map (SHER STN 040).
